12 years ago... Corey was a long haired
Indian waiting tables at Perkins in Wayzata when Tony and him met.
They decided to put a band together and that was Charlie's Cafe.
Since then Corey has shined as a
sought after guitar player for many local bands. After
Charlie's Cafe... Corey went on to play in many bands including Dazy Head Mazy.
In which time he opened for many National acts such as... Train,
Sister Hazel, Semisonic, George Thoroughgood, and the list goes on.
He was also nominated for a 2001 Minnesota Music Award as Guitar
Player of the Year.
After moving to Florida for a short
stint he came back and played in quite a few different bands most
recently playing in his cover band "The Shizz". Now Corey
spends a lot of time writing great tunes and teaching guitar lessons
at the American Guitar Boutique.
Corey has a huge fear of teeny tiny
circus clowns, now I know your probably saying... me too! But
Corey isn't afraid of them per say... he is afraid of them coming to
his house, doing his taxes and screwing them up real bad... what a
psycho.
